Using a systemized approach perfected during her 24-year career, Diana personalizes
each project after conceptualizing the client’s vision. “I have always
been able to visualize the finished project before committing thoughts to paper,”
she explained.
“I have the unique ability to balance function of the spaces with specific
detail in the design elements as I develop an accurate footprint to be followed
by all members of the project team.”
Managing every detail from conception through completion,
Diana finely tunes each project plan, resulting in a focused, seamless approach
to achieving the desired results. “I believe it is essential to create an
interior shell that is beautifully rich in detail before adding any furnishings,”
Diana said. “The specifications of a space must be properly managed throughout
the design/build process. I strive for an end result that exceeds my clients’
expectations.”

ability and listening skills—contributes to the success of her full-service
design firm, Diana S. Walker Interior Design, which specializes in both residential
and commercial projects. With a reputation for creating outstanding interiors, Diana
has earned an impressive nine Houston Chronicle/ASID Design Awards and publicity
in local and national publications.
In addition to managing her design firm, Diana also
proudly supports many industry organizations and charitable causes.
She is a professional member and a past president of the ASID Texas Gulf Coast Chapter,
where she also has served on numerous committees in a variety of capacities throughout
her professional career.
For eight years, Diana served her profession as a legislative representative for
the Gulf Coast Region of the Texas Association for Interior Design, for whom she
now serves as board secretary.
The active professional with a hands-on approach to design applies her industry
